The MN213 from AEMC is a MN200 series general purpose AC current probe. It is designed to meet the most stringent demands in industry and electrical contracting. The probe has a 1000:1 ratio and an output of 1mA per amp in the primary (inside the jaw). The MN213 has integral 5ft (1.5m) leads terminated by shrouded banana plugs. It features protective diodes across the output that limits the voltage in case if the open secondary. It meets EN 61010, 600V, CAT III safety standards and UL approved for Canada and United States. Typical applications include measuring in breaker panels, HVAC, residential and commercial sites, 5A secondary current transformers (CTs) monitoring, data logging/recording. The unique hooked jaw design facilitates clamping and hooking onto conductors. Polycarbonate materials and ultrasonic welding are used throughout to ensure ruggedness and overall lasting reliability. The model MN213 uses tape-wound cores to further improve its high and low end performance.
