The SM91EN/RN series rugged Valu-Beam® opposed mode emitter and receiver pairs are designed for reliable operation in challenging environments. They feature an excess gain rating of 100x at a 3-meter (10-foot) separation and are resistant to false triggers from bright light sources up to 120,000 lux, reflected water droplets, and flashing strobe lights commonly found on industrial lift trucks. The sensors are also immune to interference from a 5W handheld transceiver held 6 inches away. To ensure proper operation, emitter and receiver units must have matching modulation codes (A, B, or C). These sensors are housed in reinforced, molded PBT polyester enclosures with replaceable acrylic lenses, making them durable for demanding applications. They support opposed mode sensing up to 30 meters (100 feet), with three modulation code options to prevent crosstalk between adjacent sensors. The system features three-wire operation for emitters, solid-state bipolar outputs up to 150mA, and can be configured for sinking or sourcing connections simultaneously. The fully encapsulated circuitry is rated for NEMA 6P (IEC IP67) protection, suitable for harsh environments.
Enhance your industrial setup with the durable Banner Valu-Beam SM91EN/RN series sensors, designed for reliable outdoor and indoor operation. These sensors feature immunity to bright sunlight, water droplets, and electromagnetic interference, making them ideal for challenging environments. With a sensing range up to 30 meters, multiple modulation codes for adjacent sensors, and robust IP67 protection, they deliver dependable performance for automation, safety, and equipment positioning. Easy wiring and versatile mounting options ensure seamless integration into your existing systems.
