These connectors feature smooth internal surfaces to facilitate easier wire installation around corner angles. They do not require disassembly; installers simply push the conduit or tubing onto the ferrule and tighten the domed sealing nut. The assembled connector can then be secured in a panel with a locknut or into an NPT threaded hole. The convex ferrule ensures a liquid-tight seal without the need for conduit or tubing threading, reducing risk of leaks caused by cut conduit. The system is reusable, allowing easy removal by pulling while turning clockwise. Suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, these connectors resist saltwater, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents (not UL-certified). For wet locations, a sealing washer may be necessary, and Teflon tape or an O-ring with a locknut is required for liquid-tight finishes depending on the installation. Available in multiple sizes for use with Heyco-Flex conduit and tubing, they are ideal for OEMs and field installers, with various NPT, PG, and Metric threading options. Black connectors up to 1 inch include a nylon locknut and are packed separately; larger black and all gray connectors come with an assembled O-ring and metal locknut.
