The ACA5-20PC-5-AC1-RL-C is a red LED display AC ammeter designed to measure and digitally display AC currents. It scales the output from standard 5A current transformers (CTs) by passing the secondary wires through its onboard CT. Once powered, it can instantly measure AC currents across 14 ranges from 0 to 200A with 1A resolution. This ammeter is compatible with existing high-current CTs, providing modern digital precision to traditional analog ammeters. It features interface circuitry that connects the onboard CT to a 3½ digit A/D converter, whose output drives large, easy-to-read LED displays (0.37 inch / 9.4 mm height). The device incorporates auto-zeroing, precision bandgap references, and stable metal-film resistors, ensuring accuracy within ±0.15% full scale and excellent stability. Suitable for automation and process control applications, the ammeter can be self-powered in AC models and functions as a digital replacement for traditional analog ammeters.
