3M 9219MM Polyimide Tape
The 3M™ 92 Series Polyimide Film Electrical Tape features an amber-colored polyimide film backing with a silicone adhesive system, offering exceptional heat resistance and flexibility for low-temperature applications. The tape is 1 mil thick and can be imprinted, supplied on a 3-inch plastic core. Its silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive allows operation at temperatures up to 356°F (180°C). This high-temperature insulating tape is ideal for wrapping coils, transformers, capacitors, wire harnesses, and for anchoring leads or terminal boards. It is also used in printed circuit board assembly as a wave solder masking tape. The tape has a UL510 flammability rating, a dielectric breakdown voltage exceeding 7500V, and an insulation resistance greater than 1x10^14 ohms.
