This Resistive Touch Generation 4 LCD CAPE module features a 7-inch primary TFT display with a resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. It includes a capacitive touch screen controlled by a Focaltech capacitive touch controller, interfacing with the BeagleBone Black via the I2C protocol. The module connects to the BeagleBone Black using a 30-way FFC ribbon cable and is powered through an adapter with signals supplied directly from the BBB. Note that this 4DCAPE is incompatible with the BeagleBone White and is intended solely for use with the BeagleBone Black. The CAPE allows EEPROM ID selection via DIP switch and offers improved performance over previous analog interface models. Suitable for embedded design and development projects.
