The 10RC-8 ring terminal is crafted from electrolytic copper with an electro-tin plated finish, featuring a yellow vinyl insulator. It is self-insulated with an extended PVC insulation sleeve that provides additional protection and reduces bending stress at the wire's flex point. The terminal's brazed seam barrel is serrated to ensure high pull-out strength. It is compatible with a complete line of installation tools designed to match the terminal type, including those for vinyl-insulated and bare Sta-Kon® terminals. The serrated barrel allows crimping at any point around its circumference, suitable for use with single or double-indent crimping tools, with double-indent recommended for solid wire. Features include wire range identification on the terminal tongue, high conductivity due to construction from electrolytic copper, and a UL94V-0 flammability rating. Applications span defense, military, and aerospace sectors. The package includes the ring terminal with an extra metal sleeve for insulation grip.
