The AEMC Model 5233 Multimeter offers a comprehensive range of measurement functions including Voltage, Resistance, Continuity, Diode testing, Capacitance, Frequency, Duty Cycle, and Current measurement. It features an AC voltmeter with low input impedance capable of identifying ghost voltages by adding burden to the circuit. The multimeter can measure currents up to 10 Amps directly and can also measure temperature in both Celsius and Fahrenheit using K-type thermocouples. Equipped with a rotary switch that includes two OFF positions (OFF and OFF NCV), the device provides a safe and convenient method for detecting live wires, with display alerts when near energized circuits. It has high sensitivity with a resolution of 0.01 millivolts and is capable of withstanding electrical overloads up to 8,000 volts.
