This fully automated graphical insulation tester is capable of measuring insulation resistance up to 15,000 V. It is housed in a rugged, IP54-rated case and provides test results and configuration information on a graphical LCD screen. The device supports data export via DataView® software and can operate on battery or AC power. It allows programming of up to three step voltage profiles (40 to 15,000 V), along with three ramp profiles and programmable test voltages, including standard fixed voltages such as 500, 1000, 2500, 5000, 10,000, and 15,000 V. Key features include voltage, frequency, and current detection prior to testing, various measurement modes (fixed, adjustable, ramp, and step), and safety features like live voltage monitoring, programmable thresholds with audible alerts, fuse protection, and digital filtering. The device can store up to 80,000 measurements and is suitable for acceptance testing, preventive maintenance, and testing motors, cables, switchgear, electrical wiring, and more, including high-resistance, absorption, dielectric, and insulation resistance tests.
