The AEMC 8336 three-phase power quality analyzer offers comprehensive electrical measurement and monitoring capabilities. It can store up to 12 screen snapshots, 51 transient captures (with four cycles each), and 4,000 alarm events across up to 10 parameters. The device records trend data over days, weeks, or months and features IEC 61000-4-30 Class B compliance, safety rated to 600 V CAT IV. It is equipped with five voltage and four current inputs, supporting true RMS measurements for single-, two-, and three-phase systems at 256 samples per cycle, including DC measurements. The analyzer provides real-time color waveforms, automatic probe recognition, and scaling, along with harmonic analysis up to the 50th order. It captures transients as brief as 1/256th of a cycle and logs extensive data for analysis. Additional functions include phasor diagrams, power calculations (VA, var, W, kVAh, varh, kWh), neutral current calculation, transformer K-factor, power factor and displacement power factor, phase unbalance, harmonic distortion, alarms, surges, sags, and flicker analysis. The screen snapshot feature captures waveforms or display information for documentation. DataView® software enables configuration, real-time display, analysis, and report generation. Applications include electrical monitoring, harmonic detection, utility testing, energy management, power factor correction, demand analysis, industrial and commercial troubleshooting.
