The AEMC ML912 is a versatile data logger designed for electrical measurements and power analysis. It performs line tracking by capturing 64 samples over a single line cycle and offers frequency tracking within ±2Hz of the nominal line frequency (50 or 60Hz). Harmonic measurements are calculated from these samples, using the DataView® software, but are only available through the Simple Logger® II Control Panel. The device performs True RMS (TRMS) calculations on a single cycle, making it ideal for detailed power quality assessments. Equipped with two integral MiniFlex® flexible current probes, the logger measures currents from 0.5A to 1000A TRMS with 0.1A resolution, with dual ranges (100/1000A) selectable per channel. It features 64 samples per cycle, programmable storage rates from 8 samples per second to one sample per day, and four user-selectable storage modes. The internal memory stores up to 240,000 measurements non-volatilely. Power is supplied by standard alkaline batteries, and the device boasts a lightweight, compact design with five LED indicators displaying status. Data transfer is facilitated via an included optically isolated USB 2.0 port. The ML912 is suitable for applications such as split phase load monitoring, neutral and ground current measurement, intermittent problem detection, harmonic current analysis, and machine load monitoring. It complies with EN 61010-1 standards (600V CAT IV, 1000V CAT III). The package includes free DataView® software for data storage, real-time display, analysis, and report generation, along with an isolated USB communication cable.
