The MN213 is a general-purpose AC current probe suitable for use with digital multimeters, loggers, recorders, and oscilloscopes. It features a 1000:1 current transformation ratio with an output of 1mA per Ampere on the primary, and has an easy-to-use design with integral 5-foot leads terminated by shrouded banana plugs. The probe's large jaw opening can accommodate conductors up to 250 MCM, making it ideal for measuring AC currents ranging from 0.5 to 240A. It operates effectively from 40Hz to 10kHz and includes protective diodes across the output to prevent voltage buildup if the secondary is open. The device complies with EN 61010 safety standards (600V, Category III), is UL certified for North America, features double insulation, and bears the CE mark. Its compact size makes it suitable for applications such as breaker panel measurements, industrial loads, HVAC/R systems, residential and commercial site monitoring, and secondary current transformer testing for data logging and recording.
