The AEMC MN313 is a high-accuracy, low phase shift AC current probe designed for precise measurements. It features a 1000:1 ratio with an output of 1mA per ampere in the primary (within the jaws). The probe has a compact size with a large jaw opening capable of accommodating conductors up to 250 MCM. It operates over a measurement range of 0.1 to 240A AC and responds from 40Hz to 10kHz. The integral 5-foot lead is terminated with shrouded banana plugs. The device includes a protective diode across the output to limit voltage in the event of an open secondary. It is suitable for use with DMMs, loggers, recorders, and oscilloscopes, and complies with EN 61010, 600V Cat. III safety standards. The MN313 is UL approved for Canada and the USA, features double insulation, and bears the CE mark. Common applications include measuring current in breaker panels, industrial loads, HVAC systems, residential and commercial sites, and monitoring secondary current transformers (CTs).
