The 5166C SL005 is a 6-core shielded cable featuring tinned copper conductors and PVC insulation. This sunlight-resistant, multi-core cable has a slate PVC outer jacket, a nylon ripcord for easy stripping, and comprehensive shielding including aluminium/polyester/aluminium Supra-Shield® foil tape and a tinned copper braid with a minimum coverage of 70%. Designed for general-purpose use, it offers premium-grade PVC insulation and jacket for easier routing in tight spaces. The cable provides resistance to oils (per UL Oil Res I, 60°C Oil Res) and class 43 oil resistance. Its construction allows for fast and easy stripping of insulation and jacket. The cable supports a maximum pull tension of 93 lbs, with a typical ground capacitance of 92 pF/ft at 1 kHz and a nominal inductance of 0.18 µH/ft. Suitable for applications in automation, process control, medical devices, portable electronics, computers, and industrial environments.
