The 86702CY SL005 is a 500-foot, two-pair Xtra-Guard® continuous flex shielded data cable. It features finely stranded, tinned copper conductors and lubricated semi-rigid PVC insulation, designed for high-flex, high-torsion, and continuous-flex applications. Its rounded geometry ensures a liquid-tight installation according to IP67 or NEMA 6 standards. The cable is shielded with a minimum of 25% overlap of aluminum/polyester foil and an 85% coverage tinned copper braid, providing excellent EMI interference resistance. It can withstand up to 6 million flex cycles, supports a maximum pull tension of 31 pounds, and has a characteristic impedance of 53 ohms. Suitable for use in communications, networking, computer peripherals, robotics, automation, and industrial environments.
