The pre-insulated POD-LOK receptacle terminals feature positive lock mechanisms combined with Glow Wire Test (GWT), UL 94 V-0 rated housings. These ergonomic, low insertion force (LIF) receptacles are supplied in strip form, making them easy to crimp and install in a single step using an automatic applicator. This design eliminates the need for secondary operations, offering significant cost savings. The automated process crimps the wire and inserts the housing, which provides insulation to prevent shock and short circuits while serving as a removal tool. The locking feature ensures secure connections that resist accidental disconnection but allow easy intentional removal.
