The Amphenol MIL-DTL-38999 Series III straight plug connector features 4 contacts and is designed for high reliability in harsh environments. Made from aluminum alloy with electroless nickel plating, it offers excellent resistance to moisture, corrosion, salt spray (48 hours), and extreme temperatures from -65°C to +200°C. The connector supports up to 500 mating cycles, with high durability versions rated for 1500 cycles. It has a minimum insulation resistance of 5000 MΩ at 500VDC, incorporates a scoop-proof contact design to prevent damage, and features an IP67 environmental protection rating. The self-locking, triple-start threaded coupling ensures secure connection. Suitable for defense, military, aerospace, and industrial applications.
