The Portenta H7 module features a dual-core STM32H747 processor with a graphics engine, capable of running high-level code alongside real-time tasks. Its two asymmetric cores include a Cortex-M7 running at 480MHz and a Cortex-M4 running at 240MHz, which communicate seamlessly via remote procedure calls. The board supports multiple languages such as MicroPython, JavaScript, protocol stacks, and machine learning. It includes onboard Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (both Classic and BLE), as well as a variety of interfaces including Ethernet, USB High-Speed, DisplayPort over USB-C, and a high-density 80-pin connector. Designed in the Arduino MKR form factor, it can be powered, connected to displays, or used in OTG mode. The module is configurable with different memory options and offers a choice of crypto chips to suit security requirements.
