The MIL-DTL-38999 Series III straight circular connector features 19 contacts and is manufactured by Amphenol Aerospace. Designed for high reliability, it offers excellent resistance to harsh environments, including extreme shock, vibration, moisture, and corrosion. The connector is moisture and salt spray resistant, supports up to 500 mating cycles (with high-durability versions available for 1500 cycles), and operates effectively across temperatures from -65°C to +200°C. It has a minimum insulation resistance of 5000 MΩ (with 500VDC measurement). The scoop-proof design prevents contact damage, and the connector provides IP67 environmental protection. It features a self-locking triple-start threaded coupling system, with an aluminum alloy body plated in electroless nickel and copper alloy crimp socket contacts with gold plating.
