The Minitek Pwr 3.0 series is a versatile wire-to-board and wire-to-wire connector designed for power applications with a current capacity of up to 5A per circuit. It offers options for dual-row configurations with 2 to 24 circuits, suitable for various applications including consumer electronics, sensing and instrumentation, medical, lighting, communications and networking, computers, and industrial uses. The connector features fully isolated terminals that prevent damage during operation, positive locking mechanisms with low thumb latch operation, and polarized, scoop-proof housings for secure and reliable mating. Available in vertical and right-angle orientations, the headers are suitable for wave soldering and support 1.6mm PCB applications. The design ensures high retention force, low insertion force, and adherence to environmental, health, and safety standards. It is compatible with Molex Micro-Fit™ systems and includes crimp, snap-in header, and receptacle contacts for 20 to 30 AWG wires. Optional crimping and removal tools facilitate wire harness assembly. The connector is durable, with a minimum insulation resistance of 1000MΩ, contact resistance of up to 20mΩ, and can withstand at least 100 mating cycles.
