The Mini-PV 65043 series crimp-to-wire connector system is designed to connect discrete wires to printed circuit boards with high reliability. It features dual-metal receptacle terminals compatible with industry standard 0.025-inch (0.635mm) square posts. The system offers various containment, protection, and guidance options on both sides of the connector interface. The wire side utilizes PV® receptacle terminals that can be terminated to wire for discrete use or inserted into multiple-circuit MINI-LATCH connector housings with optional polarizing keys. The printed circuit side includes shrouded, multi-post headers with an integral friction feature that securely grips the sides of the MINI-LATCH housings, reducing disengagement risk. The unique PV® receptacle contacts maintain consistent contact pressure through up to 1,000 mating cycles, thanks to a beryllium copper spring that provides high normal force at the mating interface. The brass contact body ensures a gas-tight, reliable crimp termination. Additional features include side walls that engage with MINI-LATCH housing sides for added retention, and designed to be available in single or double-row configurations. Polarized, keyed MINI-LATCH housings and header keyways prevent mis-mating. The two-wall header design offers mechanical advantages and cost efficiency.
