The 7915A 0101000 is a coaxial cable featuring a solid bare copper conductor and gas-injected foam polyethylene insulation. It has a black polyethylene jacket and comprehensive shielding, including a bonded aluminium foil-polyester tape shield with 100% coverage, a Duobond® + aluminium braid shield with 77% coverage, and a bonded aluminium foil-polyester tape shield with a shorting fold, also with 100% coverage. The Duobond Plus® shield incorporates a shorting fold in the outer foil to prevent signal leakage and emulate a solid metal conduit, enhancing high-frequency performance. This cable is commonly used in communication and networking applications. Max recommended pulling tension is 91 lbs, with a nominal inductance of 0.097 µH/ft, a velocity of propagation of 83%, and DC resistance of 6.4 Ω/1000 ft for the conductor and 4.6 Ω/1000 ft for the shield. It operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 80°C.
