The 1694A 0041000 is a coaxial cable featuring a solid bare copper conductor and gas-injected foam HDPE insulation. This RG-6/U low-loss digital coaxial cable has a yellow PVC jacket, a Duofoil® aluminium foil-polyester tape shield providing 100% coverage, and an additional tinned copper braid shield covering 95% of the surface. The Duofoil® shield consists of metallic foil applied on both sides of a supporting polyester film, offering effective shielding. This type of cable is widely used for transmitting electrical signals and energy, particularly in applications such as connecting transmitters to antennas. Technical specifications include a maximum recommended pulling tension of 69 lbs, a nominal inductance of 0.106 µH/ft, a velocity of propagation of 82%, and a conductor DC resistance of 6.4 Ω/1000 ft at 20°C.
