The BD series 7-position standard profile DIP switch features an extended actuator for easy operation. The switch offers a mechanical and electrical life of 10,000 make-and-break cycles at full load per circuit. It has a typical initial contact resistance below 50 milliohms at 2 to 4VDC and 100mA, with a minimum insulation resistance of 10 gigohms. The dielectric strength is at least 500 VRMS between adjacent terminals at sea level, and the maximum capacitance between terminals is 5 pF. The switch case and cover are made of flame-retardant glass-filled polyester (PBT, UL94V-0), while the actuator is made of flame-retardant, heat-stabilized glass-filled nylon 6/6 (UL94V-0). Contacts are gold over nickel over phosphor bronze, and terminals are matte-tin over nickel over phosphor bronze.
