The C-Series hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers are designed for applications requiring higher amperage and voltage capacity in a compact form factor. They are available in 1 to 6 poles, with current ratings ranging from 0.02 to 100 amps. These breakers are UL Recognized for up to 480VAC and 150VDC, and UL489 Listed for up to 240VAC and 125VDC. They feature optional time delay settings, various terminal configurations, actuator styles, and colors. The unique arc chute design allows for interrupting capacities up to 10,000 amps. Constructed with thermoset glass-filled polyester half shells, they offer enhanced mechanical and electrical durability. The wiping contacts and mechanical linkage with two-step actuation ensure reliable contact pressure, longer contact life, and self-cleaning contacts. Terminals are available with American Standard or Metric threaded studs, or saddle clamp screw types. An optional mid-trip handle provides visual indication of overload conditions, with or without an alarm feature. Additionally, a SPDT auxiliary alarm switch with a 0.110-inch quick-connect terminal is included. Suitable for DC medium frequency applications, rated at 70 amperes.
