The C-Series hydraulic-magnetic circuit breakers are designed for applications requiring higher amperage and voltage capacity in a compact form factor. They are available in 1 to 6 poles, with current ratings ranging from 0.02 to 100 amps, and are UL Recognized up to 480VAC or 150VDC, as well as UL489 listed up to 240VAC or 125VDC. These breakers feature a unique arc chute design that supports interrupting capacities of up to 10,000 amps. Constructed with thermoset glass-filled polyester half-shells, they provide enhanced mechanical and electrical strength. The mechanical linkage utilizes wiping contacts with two-step actuation, ensuring high contact pressure, self-cleaning contacts, and extended contact life. They can be equipped with American Standard or Metric threaded stud terminals or saddle clamp screw terminals. An optional mid-trip handle provides visual overload indication, with or without an alarm feature. This particular model includes an auxiliary/alarm switch without an auxiliary switch, supports a frequency of 50/60Hz in DC applications, and has a rated current of 65 amps.
