The C-Series hydraulic-magnetic circuit breaker is designed for applications requiring higher amperage and voltage capacity in a compact size. It is available in 1 to 6 poles, with current ratings from 0.02 to 100 amps, and is UL Recognized up to 480VAC or 150VDC, as well as UL489 Listed up to 240VAC or 125VDC. The breaker features a unique arc chute design for high interrupting capacities up to 10,000 amps. Its thermoset glass-filled polyester half-shell construction ensures enhanced mechanical and electrical strength. Equipped with wiping contacts and mechanical linkage, it provides two-step actuation, ensuring high contact pressure and extended contact life. It offers various terminal options including American Standard or Metric Threaded Studs, or Saddle Clamp screw terminals. An optional mid-trip handle provides visual overload indication, with or without an alarm feature. This specific model is rated for 50 amperes, operates at 50/60Hz, and does not include an auxiliary or alarm switch.
