The 1471 is a 0.5 oz lead-free tip tinner designed to extend the lifespan of soldering tips in challenging environments involving rosin, no-clean, and water-soluble fluxes. Proper flux application can lead to oxide buildup on tips, resulting in poor thermal transfer and de-wetting of the tip surface. This product is suitable for use on standard soldering tips. It features a boiling point of 260°C, a melting point of 232°C, and a pH value of 6. It is rated 4.1 out of 5 stars by Duratool and comes with a 12-month limited warranty. Suitable for industrial applications.
