The Fluke 789 ProcessMeter is a calibrated troubleshooting instrument designed for electricians and instrumentation professionals. It combines a loop calibrator with a digital multimeter, featuring a large dual display with backlight options, 1200 ohm drive capability on microamp sourcing, HART protocol mode with loop power and a built-in 250 ohm resistor, as well as buttons for quick toggling between 4-20mA sourcing for span checks. The device includes externally accessible fuses for easy replacement and an infrared port for data transfer to FlukeView Forms software. It meets safety standards IEC 61010-1 CAT III 1000V and IEC 61010-1 CAT IV 600V. The meter measures voltage (0-1000V AC/DC, true RMS), current (0-1A AC/DC), frequency (up to 19.999 kHz), and resistance (up to 40 MΩ) with high accuracy. It is powered by four AA batteries with a typical measurement life of 140 hours. The compact unit measures 50mm x 100mm x 203mm and weighs 610g.
