The Fluke 805 FC Vibration Meter features an innovative sensor design that minimizes measurement variations caused by device angle or contact pressure, ensuring consistent data quality across low and high-frequency ranges. It includes a four-level severity scale to assess the urgency of vibration and bearing issues. Data can be exported via USB and analyzed in Microsoft Excel using built-in templates. The device measures overall vibration in the range of 10 to 1000 Hz, including acceleration, velocity, and displacement units, suitable for a wide variety of machinery. Crest factor+ technology allows reliable bearing assessments through direct sensor tip measurements between 4,000 and 20,000 Hz. The colored LED lighting system (green and red) and on-screen comments indicate the proper pressure needed for measurements, with an integrated IR spot sensor for temperature diagnostics. Additional features include external accelerometer support for inaccessible locations, a flashlight for dark environments, a high-resolution large display, onboard memory for up to 3,500 measurements, audio output for bearing tones, and multiple measurement parameters such as a 50g peak vibration limit, 16-bit A/D conversion, and an 80dB signal-to-noise ratio. The measurement range spans from 0.01 to 50g with a resolution of 0.01g. It operates within a temperature range of -20°C to 50°C and has an IP54 protection rating. Ideal for test and measurement applications, the package includes the vibration meter, USB cable, storage case, belt holster, quick reference guide, CD-ROM with Excel templates and documentation, and four AA batteries.
