This conduit connector requires no disassembly for installation. Simply push the conduit or tubing onto the ferrule and tighten the domed sealing nut to achieve a secure, liquid-tight seal with the convex ferrule. The connector does not require threading of the conduit or tubing, reducing the risk of leaks caused by cuts. It is reusable—conduit can be easily removed by pulling while turning clockwise without winding tightly during assembly. Available in multiple sizes for use with Heyco-Flex Conduit and Tubing, suitable for indoor and outdoor applications, with options for original equipment manufacturers and field installers. A sealing washer may be necessary for wet environments. Made entirely of nylon, it resists salt water, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents (note: this resistance is not UL certified). For tapped holes, Teflon® tape is recommended on threads; otherwise, an O-ring and locknut ensure liquid tightness. Black connectors up to 1 inch come with nylon locknuts, packed separately, with the O-ring sold separately. Larger black connectors and all gray connectors arrive with an assembled O-ring and metal locknuts. Locknuts are available in NPT, PG, and Metric sizes, made of metal or nylon.
