It accommodates a wide range of approved cable diameters, with maximum sealing ranges specified for IP68 compliance. The sealing nut assembly features a ratchet design that offers enhanced anti-vibration protection and a secure grip on the cable. Constructed entirely from nylon with a Buna N sealing gland, it resists saltwater, weak acids, gasoline, alcohol, oil, grease, and common solvents (not UL-rated). The body has Acme threads to prevent skipping and facilitate quick installation. Various sizes are available to fit flexible cords ranging from 0.065 inches (1.7 mm) to 1.560 inches (39.6 mm) in diameter. It is approved for use in NEMA 4, 4X, 6, and 6P applications.
