The NT series MICRO SWITCH™ Sealed Toggle Switch features robust construction with sealing between the toggle lever and bushing, as well as between the cover and case. It is designed for demanding outdoor environments, capable of withstanding vibration, temperature extremes, dust, splashing water, and hose-directed water. The switch can endure exposure to condensation from early morning dew, making it suitable for outdoor equipment. It is equipped with larger standard metal or plastic levers for easy operation with gloves. Available in both step-base and flat-base styles, it offers three termination options: 6-32 screws, solder lugs with a 3.0mm hole, or 6.35mm quick connect terminals. An optional Easy Start threaded bushing allows quick and precise mounting alignment. The switch complies with NEMA 3, 3R, 4, 13 and IP67/68 environmental standards, making it suitable for harsh conditions. It offers 1, 2, or 4-pole configurations to suit various circuit requirements and provides both maintained and momentary action options. The optional step-case design increases terminal spacing to prevent shorting. Features include excellent tactile feedback, operation optimized for gloved hands, spring-loaded actuating mechanisms, and locking levers to prevent accidental activation. Connectivity is plug-and-play, with options for silver alloy or gold-plated contacts to suit different electrical loads. It is ideal for controlling low-voltage DC applications. Additional optional features include an engineered step-design case for increased space between terminals, and a panel stand-off with an O-ring seal to eliminate the need for behind-the-panel hardware. Typical applications encompass commercial, agricultural, building automation, and industrial environments.
