Interruption of the light beam is utilized as an indicator to point whether there is an object between the source of light and the detector. HOA0880-T51 Photointerrupter from Honeywell comes with accurate position sensing and phototransistor output. This Photoelectric Sensor belongs to HOA088 series which consists of an infrared emitting diode encased in a black thermoplastic housing.
