The EJ664 is a Type-4 Junction Box constructed from 16-gauge mild steel, featuring a continuous hinge door with a quarter-turn latch. This Eclipse Junior series enclosure is designed to house electrical and electronic equipment, providing protection in demanding industrial environments. It can be used as an instrument enclosure, control housing for electric, hydraulic, or pneumatic systems, electrical junction box, or terminal wiring enclosure. The enclosure boasts seamless, welded construction with no knockouts, cut-outs, or holes, and includes a formed lip to prevent the ingress of liquids and contaminants. It is equipped with 14-gauge welded mounting brackets, a poured-in-place gasket for sealing, internal threaded weld studs for mounting inner panels, and hardware for grounding and panel installation. The exterior is finished with a smooth, recoatable ANSI 61 gray powder coating, while the inner panels are made of unpainted galvanized steel.
