Honeywell's XPC/XPCL and XPX/XPXL Series sensors integrate silicon micromachined sensing technology with temperature compensation and calibration. These low-cost sensors are designed for a wide range of applications, including medical devices, systems requiring small size, and those needing both vacuum and positive pressure references. They utilize piezoresistive silicon chips mounted on ceramic and protected with a plastic cap, with various tube arrangements and nylon housings available for diverse pressure applications. The sensors are protected against humidity by a Silgel® coating on the chip's top side for pressures of 5 psi and above.
