The ITT CANNON 4.0-MM-UNIVERSAL-CONTACT is an independent Surface Mount Technology (SMT) contact providing an electrical connection between a device and a PCB. Manufactured as a single-piece stamped product, it incorporates pre-load and anti-lift features, designed to replace traditional custom interfaces. This contact allows for a standard interface across applications and platforms, offering flexibility in component positioning. It finds applications in handsets, memory sticks, home electronics, automotive keyfobs, medical equipment, and industrial circuit breakers. The domed contact point ensures good Hertz stress and low contact resistance, while side wings protect the active parts of the contact, preventing overstressing and potential damage. Compliant with WEEE and RoHS directives.
