The Keithley 6487 CAL D is a high-resolution, bus-programmable picoammeter and voltage source with 5.5-digit resolution. It enhances the capabilities of the earlier 6485 model by offering a high-resolution 500V source, increased accuracy, faster response times, and a damping function for testing capacitive devices. This instrument features eight measurement ranges, high-speed autoranging, and can measure currents from 2 nA to 20 mA at speeds up to 1000 readings per second, as well as source voltages from 200 µV to 505 V.
