The Keysight Technologies 1147B CAL D is a DC to 50 MHz bandwidth active current probe capable of measuring up to 15A AC/DC current. It features an AutoProbe interface compatible with InfiniiVision and Infiniium oscilloscopes, making it ideal for capturing transient current signals in applications such as motor controllers, switching power supplies, inverters, and current amplifiers driving inductive loads. The probe supports high impedance auto-configuration with compatible scope series, providing maximum continuous current ratings of up to 15A DC and 10A RMS with two probes. It also supports peak currents up to 30A. Designed with split-core construction for easy connection, degaussing, and calibration, it offers a flat frequency response, low noise, fast rise time (7ns or less), and includes features like a residual magnetism remover switch. The probe is powered by the oscilloscope, requires no external power supply, and is rated for voltages up to 300V CAT. It supports a maximum of two probes simultaneously for conductor diameters up to 5mm (0.2 inches). Suitable for test and measurement environments, it is important to note that it is not waterproof or dustproof and should only be used with power lines carrying 300V or less to ensure safety.
