The LM4040CIX3-5.0+T is an improved precision micropower shunt voltage reference in 3 pin SC-70 package. This two terminal shunt mode band gap voltage reference is ideal for space critical applications. The laser trimmed resistors ensure precise initial accuracy of 0.5% with ±30ppm/°C temperature coefficient (IR = 10mA). The LM4040C has 54μA minimum shunt operating current capability with low dynamic impedance which ensures stable reverse breakdown voltage accuracy over a wide range of operating temperatures and currents. This device does not require an external stabilizing capacitor while ensuring stability with any capacitive load.




Fixed reverse breakdown voltage of 5V

Operating temperature range from -40°C to 85°C

Low wideband output noise of 80μVrms (10Hz to 10KHz, IR=100μA)

Reverse breakdown voltage tolerance of ±25mV

Reverse dynamic impedance of 0.5ohm (IR = 1mA, f = 120Hz, IAC = 0.1IR)
