The MAX19790ETX+ is a dual-channel analog voltage variable attenuator designed for high-frequency applications from 250MHz to 4000MHz. It features two integrated 36-pin TQFN packages, each providing up to 22dB attenuation with a linear control slope of 10dB/V. When cascaded, the attenuators offer a total attenuation of 44dB with a combined slope of 20dB/V. The device operates within a supply voltage range of 4.75V to 5.25V and an temperature range from -40°C to 85°C. It boasts a low insertion loss of approximately 2.4dB at 1500MHz per attenuator, excellent attenuation flatness over wide frequency and attenuation settings, and a low supply current of 7.3mA. This monolithic IC is built using Maxim's SiGe BiCMOS process and is suitable for applications such as broadband systems, wireless infrastructure, digital and spread spectrum communication systems, LTE/WCDMA, WiMAX, satellite modems, microwave links, automatic level control, and transmitter/receiver gain control.
Enhance your RF systems with the MAX19790 dual voltage variable attenuator, covering 250MHz to 4000MHz. Featuring cascaded 44dB attenuation, low insertion loss of about 2.4dB, and linear control slope, it’s ideal for broadband, wireless, satellite, and microwave applications. Its compact 36-pin QFN package with exposed pad ensures efficient thermal and RF grounding. Designed on Maxim’s advanced SiGe BiCMOS technology, it provides robust operation over -40°C to 85°C, consuming only 7.3mA of current, delivering high performance and reliability for demanding industrial RF systems.
