The Pico-Spox 1.5 tin (Sn) discrete wire cable assemblies are off-the-shelf (OTS) products designed to facilitate both prototyping and preproduction phases. They utilize popular terminal types for easy access to crimp applicators, which are widely available in the market. The assemblies feature a vertical and right-angle single-row header with a unique friction lock that provides latch protection and secure terminal retention. The 1.5mm pitch connector ensures reliable mating retention while offering a compact design with 30% space savings compared to traditional 2mm wire-to-board connectors. Typical applications include consumer electronics, industrial automation, and MedTech. The Pico-SPOX series cable assemblies are compatible with readily available tooling and include an SMT-type plug header for automated assembly. They feature polarization keys to prevent mismating, UL and CSA certification, a maximum voltage rating of up to 250VAC, and a maximum current of 2.5A per contact. Made with a nylon housing, phosphor bronze contacts with tin plating, and natural-colored resin, these assemblies support up to 10 mating cycles and operate within a temperature range of -10°C to +105°C.
