The EV2731-QC-00A is an evaluation board designed to showcase the capabilities of the MP2731 battery charger IC. The MP2731 is a highly integrated, wide-input, 4.5A switch-mode charger for single-cell Li-ion or Li-polymer batteries, supporting NVDC architecture with power path management suitable for portable devices such as tablets, smartphones, and mobile internet devices. It features a low-impedance power path to optimize efficiency, reduce charging time, and extend battery life. The board supports input voltages from 3.7V up to 16V, including standard USB ports and high-voltage wall adapters with fast-charge capabilities. It can supply up to 3A at 5V for USB OTG operation.
