The MCP1755T-3302E/DC is a 3.3V fixed output CMOS low-dropout (LDO) linear regulator that can deliver up to 300mA of current while consuming only about 68µA of quiescent current. It operates within an input voltage range of 3.6V to 16V, making it suitable for battery-powered applications such as four to six cell primary batteries, 12V mobile devices, and single to three-cell Li-Ion battery systems. The regulator can provide 300mA with a typical dropout voltage of 300mV. Its output voltage tolerance is typically +0.85% at 25°C and within ±2.0% across the temperature range of -40°C to +125°C. Line regulation is typically ±0.01% at 25°C. The device maintains stability with only 1µF of output capacitance, compatible with ceramic, tantalum, or aluminum electrolytic capacitors. Additional features include a Power Good output, Shutdown input, true current foldback protection, short-circuit protection, and overtemperature protection.
