The MICROCHIP TECH. MCP1802 is a family of CMOS low dropout (LDO) voltage regulators designed to deliver up to 300 mA of current while maintaining a low quiescent current of just 25 µA. Its input operating range spans from 2.0V to 10.0V, making it well-suited for applications powered by two to six primary cells or one or two Li-Ion cells. The MCP1802 offers low dropout voltage, high PSRR, and current limit protection, along with a shutdown function for power optimization. It finds use in battery-powered devices, smoke detectors, pagers, and various consumer electronics.
