The MCP1804T-3302I/OT is a CMOS low dropout voltage regulator with shutdown capability. It can deliver up to 150mA of current while consuming only 50µA of quiescent current at an output voltage of 1.8V to 5V. The device operates within an input voltage range of 2V to 28V. It is capable of providing 100mA with a typical voltage differential of 1.3V for an output of 3.3V. The output voltage tolerance at 25°C is a maximum of ±2%, with a line regulation of ±0.15% typical. Stability is achieved with 0.1µF ceramic, tantalum, or aluminum electrolytic capacitors on both input and output. The regulator features over-current protection with current fold-back down to 40mA for short-circuit protection. A shutdown function allows the output to be enabled or disabled, with only 0.01µA of supply current when disabled.
