The MIC2005/2015 is a current limiting, high-side power switch designed for general purpose power distribution and control in digital televisions, printers, set top boxes, PCs, PDAs, and other peripheral devices. It provides current limiting and power switching functionality with thermal protection to prevent damage under fault conditions. Features include fault reporting with fault blanking, output slew rate limiting, under voltage detection, automatic-on output, and an enable pin with selectable active high or active low functionality. The Kickstart™ feature allows momentary high current surges to pass unrestricted. Available in SOT-23 and MLF packages, the MIC2005/2015 is an excellent choice for applications requiring current limiting and power control.
