The A16R126HCR is a medium-sized, Type-3R Hinge Cover Enclosure constructed from galvanized steel with an ANSI 61 gray polyester powder coating on both the interior and exterior surfaces. Designed to meet basic protection needs, it safeguards electrical components from external elements such as rain, sleet, snow, or dripping water. The enclosure features a drip shield on top and seamless sides, front, and back to prevent water intrusion. It has a 16-gauge plated steel continuous hinge with a stainless steel pin, and the cover is securely fastened with captive plated steel screws. The enclosure includes collar studs for optional panel mounting and a hasp and staple for padlocking security. Please note, it does not include gasketing or knockouts. Suitable for industrial applications, panels are sold separately and are flanged on all four sides.
