The FOM-series fibre optic monitors are compact and reliable devices designed for accurate temperature measurement across various applications, including transformer manufacturing, chemical processing, medical equipment testing (such as MRI, PET scan, NMR), microwave heating, food and beverage processing, electric vehicle and battery testing, and wood drying. These monitors support up to 8 channels and feature an impressive temperature measurement range from -80°C to +300°C with an accuracy of ±1.0°C (and ±0.2°C in relative temperature). Utilizing fibre optic sensors that transmit data via light, these monitors offer fast, reliable signals unaffected by electromagnetic interference, radio-frequency interference, NMR, or microwave radiation. Additional features include USB data logging, configurable output options (0-10V / 4-20mA), expandable memory via microSD slot (microSD card not included), and a case accessory for portability. The system supports communication through RS-485 and USB (with Modbus protocol) and typically responds within 0.2 to 0.5 seconds per channel. Connection is made via ST connector, making it versatile for various industrial applications.
