The FOS-series fibre optic temperature sensors are designed for reliable and precise temperature measurements across a broad range of applications. These sensors provide accurate readings within ±0.8°C, with a faster response time of up to 200 milliseconds. They offer a temperature measurement range from -200°C to 250°C and feature a 1.6mm (1/16 inch) probe diameter. One of the key advantages of fibre optic temperature sensing is that the sensors do not require recalibration, ensuring high repeatability and long-term stability without signal degradation over cable lengths. Operating via light transmission through the fibre, these sensors are immune to electromagnetic interference (EMI), radio frequency interference (RFI), NMR, microwave radiation, and corrosive environments, making them highly reliable in challenging conditions. The sensors have a durable polyimide-coated tip for increased longevity, use an ST connector for connection, and are equipped with a PTFE cable for enhanced durability.
